Social media communication officer M/F

Join this European institution to manage social media and communication tasks!
Our client, a European institution, is looking for a Social Media Communication Officer M/F. This is a temporary assignment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage and contribute content to social media content calendar.
  • Work closely with team members to keep content calendar up to date, ensuring accuracy.
  • Create content for recurring communication products.
  • Create monthly social media analytics reports.
  • Create regular social media listening reports, using specialised social media listening platform.
  • Provide support for content creation on ongoing campaigns.
  • Provide support for development of existing social media AI Agent project(s).

KEY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field. A background in economics, finance, international relations, or European Policy is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in external communication, expertise in social media content production, managing digital channels or a similar role.
  • Experience working in an EU institution, an International Financial Institution (IFI), and/or a creative agency would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of social media and content marketing.
  • Solid expertise in analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other euro area languages would be a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or other comparable tools.
  • Proficiency in social media listening platforms, such as Meltwater or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva is considered an asset.
