Social media communication officer M/F

Join this European institution to manage social media and communication tasks!

Our client, a European institution, is looking for a Social Media Communication Officer M/F. This is a temporary assignment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage and contribute content to social media content calendar.
Work closely with team members to keep content calendar up to date, ensuring accuracy.
Create content for recurring communication products.
Create monthly social media analytics reports.
Create regular social media listening reports, using specialised social media listening platform.
Provide support for content creation on ongoing campaigns.
Provide support for development of existing social media AI Agent project(s).

KEY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field. A background in economics, finance, international relations, or European Policy is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in external communication, expertise in social media content production, managing digital channels or a similar role.
Experience working in an EU institution, an International Financial Institution (IFI), and/or a creative agency would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of social media and content marketing.
Solid expertise in analysis and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other euro area languages would be a plus.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or other comparable tools.
Proficiency in social media listening platforms, such as Meltwater or similar platforms.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva is considered an asset.
