Head of Technology Solution

Hays Luxembourg is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Technology Solutions to lead a team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic direction of the development team and processes, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative, high-quality digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and experience in the financial industry. You will work with designers, developers, AI specialists, and business professionals.

We are looking for someone who can ideally start ASAP. It is a 1-year contract followed by internationalization within the client.

Your responsibilities will be as followed :
  • Technology Roadmap:
    Develop and communicate a comprehensive technology roadmap for the team, aligning software development, analytics, and other essential technologies with the evolving demands of the financial services industry.
  • Lead Solution Technology:
    Oversee and champion end-to-end design, development, and implementation of impactful digital products and services. Collaborate with designers, developers, AI experts, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and outstanding outcomes.
  • Innovation:
    Actively research, evaluate, and introduce emerging technologies to maintain our position at the forefront of innovation for our clients. Consider adopting new architectures such as Microservices, EDA, CQRS, etc.
  • Partnerships & Collaboration:
    Foster strategic partnerships with technology providers, clients, and internal teams. Leverage external expertise and knowledge-sharing to enhance our digital capabilities and solution delivery.
  • High-Performing Team:
    Attract, mentor, and retain a diverse and exceptional team of technology experts. Create an environment where talent thrives, driving success for the Digital Factory.
Skills And Attributes For Success:
  • Technology Leadership:
    Demonstrated success in leading technology-driven initiatives or teams in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Deep understanding of software development principles, data analytics methodologies, artificial intelligence applications, and relevant cutting-edge technologies.
  • Strategic Vision:
    The ability to translate business needs into a robust technology roadmap and effectively communicate this vision to all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong familiarity with digital trends and challenges in the financial services sector.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree/MBA is strongly preferred.
  • 8–10 years in technology roles, with a significant focus on solution development (8-15 years).
  • Demonstrable success in delivering technology-driven digital transformation projects.
  • Good understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for bridging the gap between technology and operational teams.
