Governance assistant M/F

Our client, a banking company based in Luxembourg, is looking for a governance assistant with Portuguese and English speaking.
This is a temporary contract for 6 months with a possibility of extension.

Main responsibilities :

  • The candidate monitors and manages governance-related documents,
  • He organises meetings and events, ensuring smooth coordination,
  • He manages communication and administrative duties,
  • He manages emails related to governance matters,
  • He monitors the department archives,
  • He maintains corporate files,
  • Commissions/Committees and Board Meetings agendas,
  • He manages minutes,
  • He assists in projects and tasks the Governance & HR Manager and Officer,
  • He participates in policy/procedures review, and the implementation of new processes,
  • He keeps up to date with any regulations or policies.

Skills & qualifications required :

  • A first experience in a similar position is required,
  • A degree in the legal field or equivalent,
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, and French is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat,
  • Communications skills and problem-solving,
  • Organisational skills, discretion, self-motivation, team player,
  • Sense of balance under pressure situations,
  • Able to work independently,
