Events specialist
The Events Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events that showcase scaleups, strengthen innovation ecosystems, and engage key partners, stakeholders, and community members across flagship programs, ecosystem events, and local initiatives.
He/She demonstrates a strong interest and intellectual curiosity in future trends, startup ecosystems, and digital technologies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about events management who can operate effectively within both a structured corporate environment and a fast-moving startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning & Coordination
  • Manages the end-to-end organisation of internal and external events, including showcases, partner visits, summits, workshops, and ecosystem engagements.
  • Conducts venue research and oversees supplier selection, approvisionnement, logistics, room bookings, travel arrangements, and onsite coordination.
  • Prepares and maintains event documentation, including agendas, run-of-show, attendee lists, name badges, briefing notes, and event packs.
  • Aligns internal teams and collaborates closely with business development leads to ensure strategic alignment of events.
2. Stakeholder & Partner Support
  • Coordinates with scaleups, internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Manages communication with attendees and speakers, including invitations, confirmations, and follow-up.
  • Supports interactions with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders with professionalism.
3. Marketing & Communications
  • Collaborates with Communications and Marketing teams on event branding, assets, and promotional materials.
  • Supports content creation for social media, newsletters, and internal platforms before and after events.
  • Ensures consistent application of brand guidelines.
4. Operational & Administrative Support
  • Maintains event calendars, trackers, budgets, invoices, and supplier contracts.
  • Produces post-event reports, including feedback, performance metrics, and recommencions for improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellentes communications and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders and international partners.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with event tools such as Eventbrite, Teams Live Events, Canva, or CRM platforms is a plus.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience supporting corporate or startup/innovation events is an advantage.
