About the role
The
End User Hardware Support specialist focuses on the deployment, maintenance,
and troubleshootin g of end-user devices, ensuring
reliable and compliant workplace equipment.
Besides you'll s trengthen the internal End User Service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, configure,
deploy, and maintain end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals,
mobile devices).
- Diagnose and resolve
hardware-related incidents and replacement requests.
- Manage device lifecycle
activities including installation, upgrades, swaps, and decommissioning.
- Support users during
onboarding, moves, and hardware refresh programs.
- Work closely with End User
Support, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
- Maintain accurate asset
and device documentation in IT systems.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication skills
in English (incl. upward communication), German is an advantage
- Solid experience with
hardware support in corporate IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of
Windows devices, peripherals, docking stations, printers, and mobile
devices.
- Familiarity with MDM tools
and device management processes.
- Methodical, hands-on, and
detail-oriented approach.
