Our Client is Hiring: Payroll & HR Administration Officer.
We are supporting our client, a leading international law firm, in recruiting a Payroll & HR Administration Officer to join their HR team in Luxembourg. This role is part of a broader HR strategy focused on delivering high-quality support across all strategic and operational HR functions.
Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for payroll processing and personnel administration. You will also contribute to both local and global HR projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain HR databases and the HR Information System
 - Organize medical check-ups and manage health insurance affiliations
 - Process monthly payroll (new hires, departures, contract changes), liaise with fiduciaries, review payslips, and resolve discrepancies
 - Handle payroll-related inquiries (overtime, reimbursements, etc.)
 - Manage all types of absences (leave, sickness, special leave)
 - Collaborate with HR Business Partners, the HR team, and the Finance department
 - Ensure accurate payroll records and generate reports
 - Review and improve payroll processes
 - Respond to requests from payroll providers, external administrations, and auditors
 - Support compensation monitoring (salary reviews, bonuses, interest subsidies) and benefits administration
 - Participate in ad hoc HR projects
 
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
 - Minimum 3 years of experience in HR administration and payroll
 - Proven experience in monthly payroll processing
 - Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
 - Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
 - Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
 - Solid understanding of Luxembourg’s legal framework (Labour Law, Social Security, Tax)
