Hays is looking for a project manager for a 6 months mission (renewable) for one of its clients based in Luxembourg.

• Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company

• Fluency in English is mandatory as you will be involved in an cross-border project

• Starting Date : As soon as possible / Before mid of December
• 1 remote day per week after the onbaording period (one month)
• Daily rate between 500€ and 600€ (freelance) according to your skills and experience
• Annual gross salary around 100 000€ (employee) according to your skills and experience

Main missions

• You will receive clear requirements from the Sponsor, allowing you to start each project with confidence and alignment.
• You will be empowered to propose projects for prioritization, giving you a strategic role in shaping the roadmap.
• You will establish your own working team and steering committee, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved from the start.
• You will document all meetings to maintain transparency and ensure consistent follow-up.
• You will plan and organise project milestones in collaboration with Business and Tech, keeping delivery on track.
• You will apply recognised IT standards in project management, ensuring quality and consistency across initiatives.
• You will communicate regularly with management and the Sponsor, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
• You will maintain and develop your technical skills, with support to acquire new ones as needed for your projects.

Profile :

• Several years experience from the financial industry including very good understanding about Investment products / financial instruments (
• Strong knowledge of MiFID
• Experience from Project management
• Business minded and self organised
• Excellent command of English
• University degree preferably in Economics with focus on accounting and statistics
• General knowledge of the Windows environment
• Ability to set priorities, well organized, able to work on different tasks in parallel.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
