Procurement Officer H/F

An international organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support its procurement function within the Commercial Legal and Procurement team. The role ensures the organisation acquires the necessary goods, services, and works in line with internal procurement and outsourcing policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage procurement procedures from initiation to contract signature
  • Advise internal stakeholders on procurement policies and best practices
  • Draft and publish procurement documents (e.g. RFPs, contract notices) on TED
  • Coordinate evaluation committees and manage candidate communications
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and support technical specification drafting
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and documentation standards


Profile:

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within EU institutions, IFIs, or international organisations
  • Strong knowledge of procurement in IT, HR, facility management, and consultancy
  • Proven ability to assess risks and negotiate effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English; other EU languages are an asset

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6–12 months
  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Location: Luxembourg
  • Remote work: Up to 2 days/week (conditions apply)
