Our client is a European institution and looking for a Budget Officer who speaks French and English fluently.
Our candidate will be in charge of:

• Reviewing and update the applicable budget policies and procedures;
• Developing detective controls throughout the budget setting process;
• Monitoring budget execution, ensuring alignment with applicable rules;
• Reviewing and approve budget adjustment requests and fund transfers;
• Preparing periodic reports showing the advancement of the implementation of Internal Control recommendations ;
• Contributing to the development of cost control framework;
• Identifying and addressing any dysfunctionality in budget execution;

Qualifications:
• University degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar fields;
• A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant professional experience in financial administration, finance, audit or cost control.
• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft would be an advantage.
