Senior Operational Assistant – Cash Flow Management M/F

Our client is a famous European institution located in Kirchberg. They are looking for an Operational Assistant in Cash Flow Management M/F. They are offering a temporary mission of 2 months with possibility of extension.

The candidate works under the guidance and supervision of and reports to the Head of Unit and Officers of the Portfolio and Liquidity Operations Division, as applicable.
He manages incoming emails from some functional shared mailboxes. He inputs Data coming from various sources in the systems used. He assists the officers in the preparation work of cash operations (providing data in a timely manner, flagging potential critical situations of counterparties, …). He manages the administrative aspects of cash operations, such as storing / organising documents. He maintains excellent relationships with clients at all times. He participates in the implementation of new procedures. He has internal contact with internal services and daily interaction with other members of the team. He also has external contacts with financial intermediaries, mandators, auditors and other relevant external counterparties, as applicable.

The candidate is certified in secondary level education. He has professional experience, preferably in operations, middle office, accounting or in financial audit. He has a good understanding of financial products (equity, guarantees, loans) in the assigned domain of responsibility. He has basic knowledge of legal documentation (interpretation of financial and legal documentation). He has excellent numerical skills. Knowledge of financial analysis and/ or standard audit methodology would be an advantage. He is proficient in standard IT applications. He has excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
He is able to work within tight deadlines, to react swiftly and effectively to new situations in a client-focussed and high-quality service environment. He has excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise. He has excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external clients. He has good oral and written communication. He is stress-tolerant, flexible and a team player.
