Our client, a commercial bank, is looking for a Risk Officer that will ensures the Bank is in full compliance with all banking laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
You will locate and evaluates various risk types, creates risk management safeguards and backup plans, and communicates management recommendations.

As a Risk Officer, your main tasks will be to suggest and put into practice risk models to calculate and foresee the probable progression of recognized risks (Value at Risk); Create the recurring reports that will be given to the Head Office, the CSSF (including the ICAAP, Pillar III report, contingency funding plan, and stress testing), and the BCL; Conducting credit reviews on prospective customers and current borrowers, as well as credit assessments on credit proposals; Analyzing and monitoring the risks associated with approved loans and doing credit reviews on current loans; Participate in other risk projects and the BCP.

You have a Master's degree in management, banking, engineering, math, business, or finance, 3 to 6 years of risk management expertise. You have a comprehensive understanding of the banking and financial services sectors, a significant and demonstrated experience working in the financial services sector in a risk management capacity. You can work in English. Professional designations like the CFA, FRM, or ACCA are highly advantageous.
Autonomous and dedicated, you have a high sense of responsibility and great interpersonal skills. You dispose of a global vision of the Risk activities and are stress resistant.
