Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a professional on a temporary assignment to support the Market Data Management (MDM) unit within the Finance Directorate.
The right candidate contributes to daily operations related to the configuration, control, and maintenance of market data across systems, ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability in a production‑critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
He supports operational activities within the MDM function, including:
- He monitors, validates, and investigates market and reference data to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial systems
- He analyses and structures data, produces clear documentation and reporting, and communicates findings to stakeholders
- He supports business users in their use of financial instrument data, translating operational needs into practical and efficient data solutions
Profile & Experience
- A secondary school diploma complemented by a 2‑year certification in a relevant field (economics, finance, accounting, or business administration), or equivalent professional experience
- He has a minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational role within a relevant field
- He demonstrates familiarity with financial instruments and market data environments
- He collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Risk, IT, and Operations, and interacts with external data providers when required
- He has a solid command of Excel for data analysis; knowledge of SQL is considered an asset
- He shows strong attention to detail and delivers accurate work under daily operational deadlines
- He adopts a structured and analytical approach, with the ability to assess data reliability and consistency
- He works effectively within a team, ensuring continuity of service in a production‑sensitive environment
- He is fluent in English and demonstrates strong business communication skills
- He ensures accountability and reliably meets commitments
- He collaborates effectively and communicates with agility across teams
