Operational Assistant (Financial Operations) (M/F)
Context
Our recruitment firm is looking for an Operational Assistant to join the Financial Operations team of a major European institution. This role is key to ensuring smooth coordination, administrative support, and accurate financial reporting in a dynamic international environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Produce timely and professional financial reports for external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Maintain and update monitoring status of mandates, including database management and use of EIB tools
- Prepare statistics, presentations, charts, and ad-hoc correspondence for internal and external purposes
- Support monitoring of the business plan (signatures and disbursements) across multiple regions: Enlargement and Neighbourhood Countries, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Pacific
- Collect and compile information/documents for external parties (e.g., auditors, European Commission)
- Handle ad-hoc requests from other front and back office services and propose solutions

Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (or equivalent certification)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in senior operational support or financial operations
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills
- Languages: Excellent English (written and spoken); French is an advantage
