Are you looking forward to taking on a new role as Technical Business Analyst – Core Banking M/F? A client in the banking sector is currently looking for a:

Technical Business Analyst – Core Banking M/F
Permanent position - inhouse
Luxembourg

You will join an international bank composed of 500 people. You will be working within the Development department and in particular within the Core Banking team, composed of 12 people that take care of the Core banking system integration. They are looking for a Business Analyst that is still really hands-on (in development). They already have a BA department that is really focus on functional requirements. They are then looking for someone able to run strong technical analysis in top of diving into data structures with a focus on core banking systems.


Your Responsibilities as a Technical BA M/F:
  • Support and resume the analysis carried by the BA department in order to identify the technical impact of the new flows. You will dig into the data structures of the core banking system in order to find cases and explain them.
  • Autonomous management of technical projects (without the BA department): database migration, development of technical components of purely technical systems (password management system, for example)
  • Core banking system development with Oracle or Cobol


Required skills for this role of Technical BA M/F:

  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • You have strong knowledge on a Core Banking system (any of them will fit for the client)
  • You have a very good knowledge on these tools: Oracle RDBMS and Unix (Linux).
  • You have good skills in Business Analysis, and you are willing to take care of one or several projects.
  • You are fluent in English and have at least a good reading level in German and are willing to learn (a lot of documentation is in German)
